How to Download a TeraBox Video Without the App

Download any public TeraBox video in three steps
- Copy the link.
- Paste it into our player and press play.
- Tap Download under the video.
The original file — not a re-encode — saves to your device. No app, no account.
Before the download starts we check the file is complete. Some TeraBox shares expose only a short preview rather than the whole file, and we'd rather tell you than let you wait on a 30-second clip. If it's a preview, we say so.
On Android (and where the file lands)
Chrome saves to the Downloads folder. Open it from the Files app, or tap the download notification. To see it in your gallery, move it to Movies or DCIM. Big files download faster and more reliably on Wi-Fi with the screen kept awake — some phones pause background downloads when the screen sleeps.
On iPhone (Files vs Photos)
Safari saves to Files → Downloads. A small arrow at the top of Safari shows progress. To put it in Photos, open it from Files and use Share → Save Video. Keep the screen on for anything over a gigabyte.
On Windows and Mac
Any browser; the file goes to Downloads. For multi-gigabyte files, a download manager that resumes (Free Download Manager, IDM) saves a lot of frustration if your connection hiccups.
Why downloads stop or run slowly
- TeraBox limits free-tier speed. This is the big one and nothing bypasses it — not us, not any tool. Honest explanation here.
- Evening congestion. Their servers are slowest in Indian evenings. Mornings are faster.
- Your phone slept. Keep the screen on, or plug in.
- Storage ran out — the classic "stuck at 99%". Check free space.
Large files and resuming
Downloads through our player can resume: if it stops, press Download again and most browsers continue from where they left off. A download manager makes this automatic. Everything about failed downloads.
Downloading a whole folder
One file at a time, from the tabs above the player. There's no zip, and here's why one wouldn't be faster.
What you should and shouldn't download
Short and plain: download what was shared with you, by someone entitled to share it. We have a DMCA page and we act on it. We also don't host anything — files pass through on their way from TeraBox to you and are never stored — so there's nothing to take down on our side, only links to stop serving.
Common questions
Is the downloaded file the same quality as the original?
Yes. Download gives you the file as uploaded. Streaming qualities (360p, 480p) are TeraBox's re-encodes; the download isn't.
Can I download at a lower quality to save data?
Not currently — Download is the original. To save data, stream at 360p instead.
The download is a .ts or .m3u8 file, not a video.
That happens when a share only offers a streaming version. Rare; ask the sender to share the file again, or open the .ts in VLC, which plays it.
