Got a TeraBox Link on Telegram? Here's How to Watch It

Why the link does nothing when you tap it

Telegram opens links in its own small built-in browser. When that browser lands on a TeraBox page, TeraBox checks what it's talking to, decides it isn't the app, and shows you an install banner instead of the video. Tap the banner and you're in the Play Store.

Nothing is broken and the link isn't dead. TeraBox simply doesn't want to stream to a browser it doesn't control.

The two-minute fix

1. Long-press the link in the chat and choose Copy link. Don't tap it.
2. Open our player and paste it in the box.
3. Press play.

That's the whole thing. The video plays on the page the way a YouTube video would — no account, no install, nothing added to your phone.

If you'd rather not leave Telegram at all, you can paste it into Telegram's own browser address bar instead. It works, but the player is cramped in there; full screen behaves better in Chrome or Safari.

Copying the link properly

The most common reason a pasted link fails is that only part of it got copied.

• On Android: long-press → Copy link. If the message is a long block of text with the link buried in it, long-press → Copy, then paste everything into our box — we pull the link out of surrounding text for you.
• On iPhone: press and hold the link until the menu appears, then Copy.
• On desktop Telegram: right-click → Copy link address.

A good TeraBox link looks like terabox.com/s/1AbCdEf... or 1024terabox.com/s/.... If what you copied ends in .jpg or starts with t.me/, you've grabbed the wrong thing.

Links that were forwarded ten times

A link that has been passed around a chat for weeks goes stale. Two things commonly happen:

"This file is private." Whoever uploaded it shared with specific people rather than with anyone holding the link. No player can fix that — ask the person who posted it to re-share with Anyone with the link.

"Link expired" or a blank page. TeraBox share links can be deleted or time-limited by the uploader. There's more on why links expire, but the short version is that you need a fresh one.

About those "downloader bots"

Most big Telegram groups have a pinned bot that promises to turn TeraBox links into files. They do work, sometimes. What they also do is receive every link you send them, tied to your Telegram account, on a server you know nothing about.

Watching a whole folder someone shared

If the message was a folder rather than a single file, paste it anyway. You'll get the list of videos and can play them one after another — see watching a TeraBox folder for what to expect with big ones.

Saving it for later

There's a Download button under every video. On a group video you actually want to keep, that's the better move — Telegram chats get cleared, and the original link might not survive the week. The file saves to your phone's normal downloads folder and plays in any video app from there.

Will the sender see that I watched it?

No. Nothing is sent back to TeraBox about who opened the link.

Is there a Telegram bot for your player?

No, and that's deliberate. A bot would mean us holding a list of every link every user ever sent, attached to a Telegram ID. The web page doesn't need that, so we don't collect it.
